Bio


Juliana Riccardi was born and raised in Queens, New York. She is a researcher, artist, and aspiring psychologist.

In 2022 she graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, from Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts at The New School, in New York City. Originally, Juliana had attended Parsons School of Design at the New School, studying integrated design, before ultimately finding her passion in psychology. This new chapter was driven by a deep desire to help and understand others through mental health care. Today Juliana carries her creative training into the academic world, remaining deeply curious and innovative in the world of psychology.

Her research ranges from clinical/counseling psychology to critical applied social psychology. Her values, methodologies, and theories are deeply rooted in decolonial and intersectional feminist frameworks. Juliana’s interdisciplinary scholarship focuses on gender, sexuality, and cultural identities informed by sociohistorical contexts in psychology.
